Job Vacancy – Tender Engineer / Tender Officer

📍 Location: Baghdad – Near Abu Nuwas

A well-established contracting and trading company in Baghdad is seeking to hire a Tender Engineer / Tender Officer to join its Projects & Business Development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate tender documents (RFP, RFQ, ITB).

• Prepare and submit complete technical, commercial, and financial tenders.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, and site teams for accurate cost estimation.

• Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, pricing sheets, and comparative statements.

• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Handle tender clarifications, correspondence, and client follow-ups.

• Ensure full compliance with tender requirements and submission deadlines.

• Maintain proper tender documentation and records.

• Support post-tender activities, including award follow-up and project handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering only.

Have good knowledge and experience in oil fields tenders 

• Proven experience of 3–5 years in applying to government and foreign companies, inside or outside Iraq.

• Strong knowledge of tendering procedures and commercial terms.

• Good understanding of construction drawings and BOQs.

• High proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.

• Good command of English (reading and writing).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Applications are limited to engineers with proven experience in the tendering field only.
