Cybersecurity Engineer

Trust International Islamic Bank

Work Location: Head Office / Baghdad

Trust International Islamic Bank is seeking highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineers to join our Information Security team. This role is suitable for professionals who combine strong technical expertise with leadership abilities and a proactive approach to securing banking systems.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:

- Strong administrative and leadership skills with excellent communication abilities

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, think creatively, and apply analytical problem-solving skills

- Proven experience in Network Security and hands-on work with Fortinet and Cisco devices

- Solid experience in managing security platforms such as SIEM, XDR, Mail Security, WAF, and PAM

- Good knowledge of international security standards, including: PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and ISO 22301

- Solid understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts and practices

- Knowledge of programming languages, databases, and security of web and mobile applications

- Experience working with Linux, Windows Server, virtualized environments (VMs), and containers (Docker)

- Hands-on experience using penetration testing and security tools, such as: Wireshark, Metasploit, Nmap, and Kali Linux

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of Cybersecurity

- Bachelor’s degree in one of the Information Technology–related disciplines

- Good conduct and professional ethics, with references from previous employers available upon request

- Full-time availability and commitment to work

Preferred Qualifications:

- Very good command of the English language

- Holding one or more recognized professional certifications, such as: OSCP, CEH, PenTest+, CySA+, FCP, CCNP Security

- Strong passion for cybersecurity

- Willingness and ability to learn continuously and develop professionally

- Working days from Sunday to Thursday (5 days per week)

- Official working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

- 21 days of annual leave
