Job Title: Senior SQL Developer (PostgreSQL)

Senior SQL Developer with strong PostgreSQL expertise to design, develop, and optimize database solutions. The role requires advanced skills in stored procedures (including cursor-based logic), triggers, complex joins, data analysis, and data migration across systems while ensuring performance, accuracy, and data integrity

#KeyResponsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases

Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving multiple tables and joins

Develop and maintain stored procedures and functions, including cursor-based processing

Create and manage database triggers for business logic and data integrity

Perform data analysis to support reporting and business decisions

Plan and execute data migration between databases and systems

Validate and reconcile migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness

Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis

Ensure database security, consistency, and transactional integrity

Collaborate with application developers, data analysts, and DevOps teams

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development and production environments

Document database designs, procedures, and migration processes

#RequiredSkills & #Qualifications:

7+ years of experience as an SQL / Database Developer

Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL

Advanced expertise in:

Stored procedures and functions

Cursors in PostgreSQL

Triggers

Complex joins and relational database design

Tables, indexes, and constraints

Strong experience with data migration and data transformation

Solid data analysis and troubleshooting skills

Experience with query optimization and performance tuning

Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
