🚨 We're Hiring | Supply Chain Purchase Officer

✈️ Fly Baghdad is seeking a qualified and motivated Supply Chain Purchase Officer to join its Supply Chain Department.

📍 Work Location: Baghdad International Airport – Baghdad, Iraq

Key Responsibilities

• Manage material purchase requests and supplier sourcing.

• Obtain quotations, prepare Comparative Statements (CS), and process purchase orders.

• Ensure all aviation material documentation (EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3, CoC, ARC, etc.) is complete and compliant.

• Monitor warranties, shelf life, and supplier performance.

• Coordinate with Store and Technical Departments to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

• Maintain purchasing records, supplier communications, and KPI reports.

• Monitor stock levels and support continuous material availability.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce (Accounting, Finance, Economics), Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with other engineering degrees and relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain are also welcome to apply.

• Experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal communication).

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel), market research, quotation analysis, and purchasing best practices.

• Knowledge of aviation material documentation is preferred.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

• An MBA or professional certifications such as the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are preferred.
