We are hiring : Solar Design Renewable Energy Engineer (PV Specialist)

Company: Smart Vision General Contracting

Location: Baghdad, Iraq

Qualifications:

1 - Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering

2 - 2–5 years of experience (solar experience preferred)

3 - Basic to intermediate knowledge of solar PV systems, grid-tied and hybrid inverters, and lithium battery systems

4 - Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, PVsyst or PVSol

5 - Good knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Excel

6 - Understanding of cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and DC/AC system cabling

7 - Must not be employed in any other public or private sector position

Key Responsibilities:

1 - Perform solar PV system design and energy simulations.

2 - Conduct yield analysis, loss calculations, and shading analysis.

3 - Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and technical submittals.

4 - Support solar system design, including battery sizing and inverter selection.

5 - Assist in tender preparation and cost optimization.

6 - Coordinate with procurement and site engineers.

Working Conditions:

1 - Working Days: 6 days/week

2 - Working Hours: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
