Job Title: Electrical Technician – Cathodic Protection

Location: Karbala – Karbala Refinery

Employment Type: Full-time (Rotation: 20 days on / 10 days off)

Working Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (including 1-hour break)

Salary: IQD 1,680,000 – 1,960,000

Darjah for Recruitment Services is currently looking for an Electrical Technician – Cathodic Protection to join one of our clients in the oil & gas sector. The role focuses on executing cathodic protection activities, measurements, and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform cathodic protection (CP) measurements and monitoring.

- Use testing equipment and conduct electrical inspections.

- Perform soil resistivity tests and analyze results.

- Diagnose issues such as anode failure, grounding faults, and stray currents.

- Support maintenance and repair of CP systems and equipment.

- Assist in installation and commissioning of ICCP systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

- 3–5 years of experience in Cathodic Protection.

- Good knowledge of CP systems and testing methods.

- Ability to read technical drawings (P&ID).

- Willingness to work in a field-based environment.
