Hiring | Core System Developer

Commircial Islamic Bank of Iraq 

Location : Iraq - Baghdad - AL Sadoon St.

As part of strengthening the IT function and core systems capabilities, I’m looking to hire a female Core System Developer to support system development, reporting, and enhancements within a structured banking environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and enhancing core system features and related applications

Creating and maintaining system reports to support operations, management, audit, and compliance

Writing and optimizing SQL / PL-SQL queries and stored procedures

Supporting data extraction and reporting automation

Coordinating and following up with external development companies on system changes and enhancements

Implementing approved system enhancements and developing simple internal applications

Supporting testing, deployment, and system documentation

Required profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience working with core banking systems or enterprise financial applications

Strong hands-on experience with SQL / PL-SQL and relational databases (Oracle preferred)

Familiarity with development languages such as C#, HTML, or similar

Experience in banking or regulated environments is essential

Strong analytical skills, ownership mindset, and attention to detail

Salary between  625,000 to 1,250,000
