Al Bun Company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance Department and support the company’s financial operations.

Position Details

* Job Title: Senior Accountant

* Location: Baghdad, Iraq

* Employment Type: Full-Time

* Department: Finance

* Salry: 1,500,000 - 2,000,000

* Reports To: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare financial reports, journal entries, and reconciliations.

* Manage the general ledger and month-end/year-end closing.

* Monitor AP, AR, and cash transactions.

* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits.

* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.

* Strong knowledge of financial reporting and taxation.

* Proficiency in Excel and ERP/Accounting systems.

* Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
