Position: Accounting Manager

Location: Baghdad / Abu Ghraib – Iraq

Company: International Shipping & Logistics Company

Salary: 2,000 – 2,500 USD per month

We are a well-established international shipping and logistics company seeking a highly qualified Accounting Manager to join our team in Baghdad / Abu Ghraib.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and payroll

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Monitor cash flow and overall financial performance

Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants

Improve internal controls and accounting procedures

Lead and supervise the accounting team

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting (experience in logistics or shipping is a plus)

Strong knowledge of financial reporting and Iraqi regulations

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Leadership and team management skills

Eligibility:

Iraqi nationals only

Must be residing in Baghdad or Abu Ghraib
