Job Opportunity: *Procurement and Tendering Specialist (IT Sector)*

Location: Basra, Iraq

Working Days: 5 Days a week 

An established company working with the oil and gas sector is seeking an experienced Procurement and Tendering Specialist with a focus on IT. This dual-role position will involve managing procurement activities and overseeing tenders and contracts to support operations and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement (IT Sector)

Source and evaluate IT equipment and services to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms and contracts

Collaborate with technical and sales teams to align purchasing strategies with project requirements

Tendering & Contracts

Prepare, review, and submit tender documentation, meeting client requirements and deadlines

Oversee contract management, from drafting and negotiation to compliance monitoring

Conduct market research to identify opportunities and ensure competitiveness

Qualifications:

Proven experience in procurement and tendering, ideally within the IT and oil and gas sectors

Strong negotiation, communication, and contract management skills

Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
