Al-Hajjan Company, the authorized operator of Europcar Car Rental in Iraq, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Accounting Manager to lead its Finance Department.

Position Details

* Job Title: Accounting Manager

* Location: Baghdad, Iraq

* Employment Type: Full-Time

* Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the Accounting Department and oversee daily accounting operations.

* Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.

* Manage month-end/year-end closing, reconciliations, cash flow, receivables, and payables.

* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

* Support budgeting, forecasting, external audits, and financial planning.

* Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions and lead the accounting team.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, including managerial responsibilities.

* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, internal controls, and ERP systems.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

* CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is an advantage.
