Salary: IQD 1,100,000 – 1,400,000 (based on qualifications)

Working Hours: Saturday – Thursday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day freight forwarding and logistics operations, including shipment coordination, communication with carriers/agents, documentation follow-up, and accurate operational reporting. This role requires strong coordination skills and hands-on experience in forwarding workflows.

Key Responsibilities

 • Coordinate end-to-end freight forwarding operations (air/sea/land), including planning, follow-up, and status control

 • Communicate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and brokers to ensure smooth execution

 • Track shipments, update ETD/ETA, and provide timely status updates to customers and internal teams

 • Prepare and follow up on operational documentation (shipping instructions, invoices, packing list, COO, BL/AWB/HAWB, delivery orders, customs docs as needed)

 • Ensure accurate data entry and reporting (Excel / internal systems)

 • Handle operational emails professionally and maintain clear business correspondence

 • Support problem-solving for delays, missing documents, and operational exceptions

 • Assist in improving workflow efficiency and standardizing operational reporting

Requirements

 • Residence: Baghdad (Al-Karkh side only)

 • English: Excellent (reading, writing, and speaking) (MUST)

 • Experience: 1–3 years in freight forwarding / logistics operations (required)

Technical Skills

 • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

 • Strong skills in email management and business correspondence

Preferred

 • Familiarity with Odoo ERP is a plus

 • Knowledge of shipping documents and coordination with customs clearance is an advantage
