Job Opportunity: HSE Supervisor

Position: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Supervisor

 Experience Required: 5 to 6 years

 Work Zones: Experience in both Brown Zone and Green Zone environments

 Location:  Iraq/ Basra

 Availability: upon agreement

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Certified in at least one or more of the following internationally recognized HSE programs:

NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate)

IOSH Managing Safely

OSHA 30-Hour Training Certificate

First Aid / CPR Certification

Familiar with HSE requirements in both brownfield and greenfield construction zones.

Strong understanding of local and international HSE regulations and compliance standards.

Main Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor HSE plans and procedures across all site operations.

Conduct daily safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure proper use of PPE.

Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and enforce toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Lead incident investigations, report findings, and follow up on corrective actions.

Coordinate with project teams to promote safety awareness and accident prevention.

Maintain HSE documentation and ensure records are up to date and audit-ready.

Liaise with site management, contractors, and regulatory bodies on safety issues.

Ensure compliance with client HSE standards, as well as national safety regulations.

Additional Skills:

·      Strong communication skills and the ability to produce professional HSE reports.

·      Proactive in identifying hazards and promoting a strong safety culture.

·      Able to perform effectively under pressure and in high-risk work environments.

·      Experienced in planning and conducting emergency response drills and scenarios.

·      Respect for authority and professional conduct within the management structure
