We are hiring: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and supporting management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards

- Review and reconcile bank statements and financial accounts

- Supervise and support junior accounting staff

- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and internal controls

- Monitor cash flow and financial performance

- Support management with financial reports and analysis

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, including a senior or supervisory role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

🕘 Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 📅 Working Days: Saturday to Thursday

 📍 Location: Al-Qadisiyah, Baghdad
