Job Vacancy – Construction Manager (Electrical Engineer) 📍 Location: Baghdad – Al-Nahrawan

Tech-Iraq for General Contracting Ltd. is seeking to hire a Construction Manager (Electrical Engineer) to join its team for ongoing electrical project. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising all electrical construction activities on site in accordance with approved standards.

Key Responsibilities • Manage and supervise all electrical works on site (power, lighting, panels, cabling, poles OHTL and systems). • Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical works in line with the approved project schedule. • Manage electrical site teams and subcontractors and ensure proper coordination of activities. • Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, and client to resolve technical and site issues. • Review and approve electrical shop drawings and method statements. • Monitor material procurement and ensure compliance with approved specifications. • Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems. • Control project costs, manpower, and productivity related to electrical works. • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. • Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and electrical safety standards. • Participate in site meetings and follow up on action items.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering only. • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in electrical projects, with proven supervisory/management experience. • Strong experience in managing electrical construction projects inside Iraq. • Good knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and specifications, electrical test. • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. • Good command of English (reading and writing). • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. • Applications are limited to engineers with proven electrical construction management experience only.

Working Hours • Saturday to Thursday • 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
