Job Title: Training Translator.

Location: Karbala Refinery. 

 Rotation: 26/ 4.

Salary: 1,960,000 ~ 2,100,000 IQD

Job Summary:

The Training Translator provides accurate English-to-Arabic translation of all training materials, ensuring linguistic quality and correct technical terminology. The role supports Training Specialists and instructors by delivering timely translations for theoretical, on-the-job (OJT), and technical documents, as well as proofreading, terminology management, and assisting with bilingual communication when required.

Requirements:

• Excellent bilingual command (English-Arabic) with strong technical vocabulary.

• Solid understanding of training concepts and industrial technical documentation.

• Ability to translate complex technical content clearly and accurately.

• High attention to detail, consistency, and quality.

• Proficiency in MS Office and PDF editing tools.

• Familiarity with oil & gas industrial terminology and experience with bilingual training materials (preferred).

Professional Certifications (if any):

• Professional Translation Certificate (e.g., ATA, CIOL, or equivalent) preferred.

• Certificates in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or Oil & Gas operations (optional but advantageous).

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, English Language, Arabic Language, Linguistics, or a related field.

• Technical degree (Engineering or Science) is a plus, especially for technical training environments.
