 Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Branch Accountant based in Basra. 

- Responsibility: 

- Managing all financial transactions for the branch, including documentation, reporting, and analysis. 

- Daily tasks will include reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, overseeing ledger updates, and - ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, they will review budgets, monitor expenditures, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records.

- Qualifications:

 - Strong accounting skills, including expertise in financial transactions, budgeting, and account reconciliation

Proficiency in financial reporting, ledger management, and compliance with financial regulations

- Advanced computer literacy, particularly with accounting software and spreadsheets

Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and stakeholders

- Experience working in the food production or similar industries is a plus

Fluency in Arabic, with - proficiency in English being an advantage

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
