We’re Hiring: Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team at our production facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of our lubricant oils, greases, coolants, base oils, additives, and related raw materials and finished products.
Job Purpose
The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing routine laboratory analyses, supporting production quality assurance activities, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring all testing complies with international standards (ASTM) and internal quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct routine laboratory testing of finished lubricants, antifreeze/coolants, base oils, additives, and raw materials
• Perform physical and chemical tests including viscosity, density, flash point, pour point, color, pH, TBN/TAN, CCS viscosity, water content, glycol concentration, and foam testing
• Collect and prepare production and storage tank samples according to procedures
• Issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) for finished products
• Record, analyze, and document all laboratory results accurately
• Support production teams during blending and filling operations
• Calibrate, maintain, and clean laboratory instruments and equipment
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and HSE standards
• Report non-conforming results or deviations immediately
• Support product development and trial production activities
• Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals and consumables
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in a laboratory environment (preferably lubricant, oil & gas, petrochemical, or antifreeze production)
• Strong knowledge of ASTM testing standards
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments (viscometers, flash point testers, density meters, CCS equipment, pH meters, titration systems)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and reporting systems
• Good English communication skills (preferred)

Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience in lubricant blending plants or international oil & gas laboratory environments will be strongly preferred.
