JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Baghdad, Iraq

Department: Finance & Accounting

Working Hours: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM

Working Days: 6 Days Per Week

Salary: IQD 1,200,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, collections, bank transactions, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate must have practical experience using Odoo ERP and be able to work efficiently in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions.

• Prepare customer invoices, supplier bills, and journal entries.

• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

• Follow up on customer collections and outstanding balances.

• Handle bank deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.

• Monitor petty cash transactions.

• Prepare financial reports and support closing activities.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

• Utilize Odoo ERP for accounting and reporting activities.

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.

Skills:

• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.

• Proven practical experience using Odoo ERP.

• Experience in collections, deposits, and banking transactions.

• Experience in Travel & Tourism is a plus.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Practical Odoo ERP experience is mandatory.

• Must own a personal vehicle.

• Must be willing to handle bank visits, deposits, and collections when required.
