RSK Iraq – HSE Lead (Basra)

​We are looking for an HSE Lead to serve as our primary on-site authority. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will monitor all site staff and subcontractors to ensure total safety compliance.

​Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

​•  Site Oversight: Monitor all staff and subcontractors to enforce safety discipline.

•  Leadership: Supervise the site HSE team and deliver all safety briefings/TBTs.

•  Risk Management: Oversee high-risk tasks and ensure JSAs are strictly followed.

•  Reporting: Lead incident investigations and report directly to the HSE Manager.

•  Compliance: Ensure all site operations meet ROO and Iraqi regulatory standards.

​Person specification:

​•  Education: Degree in Engineering or English College graduate preferred.

•  Language: Professional fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.

•  Certifications: ROO PA, Passport, DDT, OSC, and AGT Training.

•  Experience: Proven site safety background in Iraq’s Oil & Gas sector.

•  Skills: Strong reporting skills and a proactive approach to site discipline.
