Job Title: Technician

Company: Sardar Group - Jaguar Land Rover

Location: Erbil 40 m Ring Road - Gullan Street

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance and repair tasks accurately and promptly, adhering to the standards outlined in manufacturers’ manuals, checklists, and standard operating procedures.

• Ensure completion of all tasks within specified timeframes and promptly notify the direct supervisor if any task is likely to exceed the designated time limit.

• Maintain adherence to safety regulations at all times and promptly report any unsafe conditions to the direct supervisor in writing upon discovery.

• Maintain all workshop tools and equipment in good condition, ensuring they are properly maintained and returned to their designated locations after use.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area at all times.

• Clock off existing Job Cards and request new ones from the direct supervisor upon completion of assigned tasks, except at the end of the shift.

• Document all service and installation activities by accurately completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

• Identify mechanical issues in vehicles manually or using computerized diagnostic tools.

• Communicate with clients regarding work performed, the overall condition of their vehicle, and any future repair requirements.

• Conduct fault diagnosis to facilitate and expedite vehicle servicing.

• Engage with customers as needed to discuss relevant matters and provide clear explanations.

• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers after service in a clean and orderly condition.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required Qualification:

•BSc. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.

•Adaptability to change, effective communication, teamwork, result orientation, and professional passion.

•Language Skills: Fluency in Kurdish is a must. The English and Arabic languages are required.
