Al-Taawon Company is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Category Manager at the company’s headquarters. We invite qualified and experienced professionals to join our sourcing team.

Key Responsibilities

 • Manage assigned FMCG categories end-to-end, including product selection, assortment planning, pricing, and promotions.

 • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.

 • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers.

 • Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and reliable supply.

 • Analyze sales performance, margins, stock levels, and market data to drive informed decisions.

 • Coordinate with Operations, Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure smooth execution.

 • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize stock shortages and overstock.

 • Identify new products, brands, and opportunities to improve category performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

 • Bachelor’s degree in any related field.

 • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Category Manager or similar role within FMCG retail.

 • Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.

 • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills.

 • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

 • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
