Job Summary:

Our company is seeking a qualified Senior Procurement Officer with strong experience in procurement. Candidates with a Civil Engineering background are preferred. The role involves managing procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring materials and services are delivered with the best quality and cost efficiency to support company projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and execute procurement processes according to project requirements

• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms

• Prepare and follow up purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials

• Identify new suppliers and evaluate existing ones

• Analyze costs and suggest alternatives to reduce expenses

• Coordinate with engineering and project departments to define specifications

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures

• Prepare periodic procurement reports

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Civil Engineering

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary IQD 2,500,000

• Salary may increase depending on experience and qualifications
