 Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Branch Accountant based in Basra. 

- Responsibility: 

- Managing all financial transactions for the branch, including documentation, reporting, and analysis. 

- Daily tasks will include reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, overseeing ledger updates, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, they will review budgets, monitor expenditures, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records.

- Qualifications:

 Strong accounting skills, including expertise in financial transactions, budgeting, and account reconciliation

Proficiency in financial reporting, ledger management, and compliance with financial regulations

Advanced computer literacy, particularly with accounting software and spreadsheets

Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and stakeholders

Experience working in the food production or similar industries is a plus

Fluency in Arabic, with proficiency in English being an advantage

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
